Have and Attitude of Gratitude

"This is a Wonderful Day. I've never seen one like this before."   - Maya Angelou

As the Holidays rush upon us, it seems like everyday gets busier and busier, trying to get as many things done in a small window of time. It is important to pause and take stock in the year's accomplishments and appreciate the people in our life who look out for us.

My wife Makomi has put up with me; guiding my Martial Arts training for over 25 years. She is great not only teaching karate but alkso a great mom and companion. She makes sure things get done outside the Dojo when I am focused inside it. Thank You.

My teacher, Mr. Levitz has been guiding my marial arts training for over 25 years. He has helped me develop and achieve my life goals of having a Karate Dojo and students of my own. Thank you.

My son Brandon continues to develop into a fine young man. It is great to watch your journey. Thank you.

To my friends, thank you for your patience. I am often traveling in many directions. I know it is not always easy to catch up with me. Thank you.

To my students, I hope I inspire you as much as you inspire me. Seeing you come into the Dojo with enthusiasm motivates me to want to be a better teacher. Thank you.

To the parents of the students who keep their child focused with fierce determination. I greatly appreciate your effort. (And so do your children, but they won't tell you until 15 years from now.) Thank you.

What are you grateful for?
